Hyland Software acquires Valco Data SystemsJuly 2, 2009, 8:38 am by Healthcare IT NewsHyland Software is bolstering its healthcare portfolio with the acquisition of Valco Data Systems, whose specialty is providing data integration services for healthcare providers using MEDITECH software. Hyland, based in Cleveland, markets the OnBase suite of document management and imaging solutions, which is being used by more than 750 healthcare providers. The technology allows providers to manage documents electronically across a broad range of departments, including health information management, revenue cycle management and accounting.
